What is the difference between an art print and a stretched canvas print?
  • A canvas print is the result of an artwork printed onto canvas which is stretched, or gallery-wrapped, onto a stretcher frame and displayed. Canvas prints are intended to reproduce the look of the original artworks displayed on Maple Studio. A stretched canvas print can be hung as-is or be combined with a floating frame.
  • An art print (or giclee print) is the result of an artwork printed on fine art paper using archival pigment inks. Art prints are always displayed within a frame and are a great way of showcasing the colours and detailing of the original artwork.
What size artwork should I order?

Every hanging space is unique and every artwork on Maple Studio can add a distinctive dimension to your home or office.

We work regularly with our customers to customise the perfect artwork solution for them. Contact us with your enquiry.

What are the framing options?

All of Maple Studio’s artworks come with your choice of solid wood frames in Black, White or Natural Wood.

  • Your Art Print frame comes with a white mat of 2 inches (5 cm) between the print and the frame itself. Plexiglass provides a protective layer for your artwork.
  • Your Canvas Print comes with a choice of:
    • Floating style frame – meaning there is a 1 cm gap between the frame and stretched canvas at all points. This style of framing draws attention to the intricacies of the artwork and the shadow creates more dynamic colours when displayed.
    • No wooden frame. Your artwork will be gallery wrapped, stretched and ready-to-hand 
Does Maple Studio sell custom prints?

We do not sell custom prints. All of the artworks available can be viewed on the Maple Studio store.

How should I care for my artwork?

Your Maple Studio purchase is an investment and a work of art and we want you to enjoy viewing it for years to come.

  • Always handle your artwork by the border
  • Hang your artwork away from direct sunlight or lights that emit a lot of UV.
  • Light dusting may be required from time to time although take care to keep it free from moisture.
  • If you are unsure how to hang your artwork, we suggest hiring a professional to ensure a high quality finish in your home or office.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free for all of our artworks!

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Each artwork is made to order and shipped by our trusted suppliers. Ultimate delivery times can vary but as a guide:

  • Australia: 10-15 working days

Will my print arrive safely?

Yes! We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that your artwork is printed, framed and packaged to the highest standards and protected while in transit.

We maintain a high level of quality control and inspect all artwork before it is dispatched to you.

How can I pay for my purchase?

We currently accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX

What currency will I be charged in?
  • If you pay with PayPal you will be charged in your home currency (USD, GBP, EUR, AUD).
  • If you pay with your credit card you will be charged in Australian dollars. Note that for international customers there may be an additional foreign currency fee associated with the transaction. We recommend PayPal in this instance.
Is paying through Maple Studio safe?
  • We are a secure website that utilises the Stripe payment gateway. All of your private data is encrypted prior to transmission and all transactions are processed securely using SSL technology.
  • You also have the option of paying for your items using PayPal.

Can I find works from Maple Studio artists elsewhere?

All of Maple Studio’s artworks are sold exclusively. Our artists are exceptionally talented and have produced additional artwork that is not sold by Maple Studio. Read more about Maple Studio’s artists.

Can I buy the original artwork?

Contact us directly if you are interested in acquiring the original works that appear on Maple Studio.

Can I commission your artists to do custom artworks?

We are proud to be supportive of our artists along their artistic career. Either contact us or reach out to our artists directly.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

We will replace or return your item, if goods are faulty, not as described on the website, or are different from a sample shown to you. In order to return your item, please contact us and we will provide further details.

  • Returns must be received in original condition and packaging.
  • All shipping costs must be covered by the customer, unless the product is faulty, incorrectly dispatched by Maple Studio or damaged in transit
My artwork arrived damaged, will you replace it?

On the rare occasion your artwork arrives damaged Maple Studio will replace it ASAP.

Please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the artwork with a photo of the damage or fault.
